Grassroots Endowment Challenge - An Even Better Offer!

The Grassroots Endowment Challenge has just become even more attractive with an amazing £1 for every £1 you put into a new Grassroots Endowment Fund at the Foundation.

In July 2008, the Foundation became a local funder for the Government's Grassroots Grants scheme. Through the Foundation, the Government pledged a £803,000 match incentive to donors. Under the previous terms of our agreement, donations had been matched by 50p for every £1.

However, in response to the challenges of the current economic climate, Kevin Brennan, Minister for the Third Sector, announced that donations raised in every area of the country could not be matched on a £1 for £1 basis. Add Gift Aid and tax relief and you could more than triple the donation. All money raised will be invested in endowment funds for the long term benefit of local communities in Berkshire.
