The Berkshire 100 Club

For many of us, Berkshire is a wonderful place to live and work with a quality of life second to none. Yet there are also areas of real deprivation in Berkshire, where people are living extremely difficult lives. These are people in your community, close to home, who need your help.

We are looking for 100 Companies who care about Berkshire and will join us in addressing these issues.

The Berkshire 100 is for you if you would like to support grassroots causes in your community.

The Berkshire 100 asks you to make an annual donation to Berkshire Community Foundation of at least £1,200, for a minimum of three years:

• 50% to be used immediately to support local needs
• 25% to be invested in the permanent endowment with the income to be used to make grants to Berkshire people forever
• 25% to be used to develop new streams of funding for Berkshire and to facilitate 100 Club activities and networking

Becoming one of the Berkshire 100 enables you to:

1. Make a difference close to home, where it counts and to support a wide range of community projects in Berkshire both now and in the future;
2. Receive regular reports of the awards made by the Berkshire 100 for use in your annual report and with staff members;
3. Use effectively delivered corporate local philanthropy:
4. Marketing materials to include a Berkshire 100 Club logo for use on members’ own materials and a membership certificate for display in reception areas;
5. Receive invitations to exclusive networking events;
6. Offer volunteering opportunities to your staff;
   Be able to redirect cold charitable requests to your company  for funding to Berkshire Community Foundation;
7. Receive assistance to take advantage of gift aid and payroll giving.
